Country Music Artist Kevin Sharp, known for his cover of Tony Rich’s Nobody Knows, and as a spokesman for the Make A Wish Foundation has passed away on April 19th due to Stomach surgeries, and Digestive issues.
Kevin had been traveling the country for the past few years as a successful motivational speaker,as well as performing on stage on occasion music from the three albums he did release throughout his career.
Kevin was also well known for his issues with Ewing’s sarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer which he was diagnosed for in his teens, and even though was presented with a slim chance of recovery; after 2 years of treatment, beat the odds, and his cancer was placed into remission.
Through the Make-A-Wish Foundation (a foundation which helps grant wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses), Sharp met record producer David Foster, with whom he soon became friends. And while working in an amusement park in Santa Clara, CA sent a Demo tape to David Foster, who helped him sign with the Asylum Records label of A&M.
In his memory, the family has requested that donations be sent to your local Make A Wish Chapter, to continue the mission of granting wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses.
