According to this MSNBC (or as I like to call them msLSD) host and commentator, Darth Vader is Racist.
In a story that was files on the Jedi Knight Academy website, this ‘college educated’ person stated that: “I know why I have feelings — good, bad and otherwise — about Star Wars,” Perry explained. “…I spent the whole day talking about the Darth Vader situation.”
She went on to say, “The part where he was totally a black guy, whose name was basically James Earl Jones. While he was black he was terrible and bad, awful and used to cut off white men’s hand, and didn’t actually claim his son. But as soon as he claims his son, goes over to the good, takes off his mask and he is white — yes, I have many feelings about that.”
First off, it’s armour… It’s just black in color. Secondly, David Prowse (The man in the costume for 6 films) and James Earl Jones (the voice of Darth Vader) could commentate better than this… person ever could with her degree.
It’s a character in a film…Not a living, breathing person. What’s actually racist here is the fact that this…person had the audacity to use her college education to come up with such a ludicrous thought process.
She was talking incoherently all the way through this segment when it was done. One has to wonder if the network nickname actually applies. Hmmmmm?
